Edward J. Gavin has followed the Meehan, Meehan & Gavin LLP tradition of legal excellence since joining the firm over 20 years ago. Mr. Gavin was named a partner in the firm of Meehan, Meehan & Gavin LLP in 1996. Mr. Gavin has litigated numerous criminal, civil, labor and administrative matters throughout the State of Connecticut. His success in high profile litigation in state and federal courts has earned him the reputation and recognition as a skillful trial advocate among the state Bar. He is recognized as one of Connecticut’s leading defenders in complex criminal cases having litigated multiple homicide, sexual assault and drug related cases. In addition to serious felony cases, Mr. Gavin has represented many clients in vehicular homicide cases, including the defense of DWI and drug and alcohol-related crimes. Michael T. Meehan is a trial attorney focusing his practice in the areas of criminal, civil law and family law.  In 2007, Michael Meehan joined his partners as a SUPER LAWYER®2007-2016, FAMILY LAW. Michael holds the honored distinction of AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubble in the areas of Criminal and Family Law.  Michael has successfully represented clients in a variety of complex cases throughout Connecticut in State and Federal courts.
